Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to support our General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, team leadership, and operational excellence.

The base salary is 30,500 - 32,000 per annum with a forecasted 4000 in tips per year.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations and a consistently high standard of service Support the General Manager in implementing and maintaining restaurant standards and procedures Supervise and motivate front- and back-of-house teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or feedback in a professional and timely manner Assist with basic administrative duties including scheduling, stock control, and reporting Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and licensing laws Participate in staff training and development to foster a positive and performance-driven team culture Contribute to team meetings and help identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and make confident decisions Basic understanding of administrative functions such as scheduling, stock management, and cash handling Passion for food, service, and team development Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
