Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help oversee both day to day operations and larger scale plans. They will be working closely with a group of people including supervisors and bar staff and will need to have an eye for leadership. Bar experience is essential and kitchen experience is desired. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and management, with the passion for great customer service and high standards. The role involves managing staff, complying with food safety regulations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere to all customers and staff.

Responsibilities

Manage bar staff, ensuring efficient operation and exceptional customer service. Serving Our customers with the bar team Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Train and mentor team members in hospitality skills, serving techniques, and barista experience. Customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Drive sales when on shift and have ideas on how to improve customer and staff experience. Assist in and lead tasks requested. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, efficiency and compliance within all areas of the bar.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in a form of management position is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities. Cocktail experience is required. A background in hotel or kitchen experience is an advantage. Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service excellence is essential.
