Job Description

Oakcrafts are an online business based in Easingwold North Yorkshire selling a range of DIY products including architectural ironmongery, wood protection oils and woodworking supplies.

As part of our continued growth we are looking for an assistant manager responsible for the day to day running of the business. The applicant will need to be flexible in their approach, be able to work with and help the existing team and take on responsibility for a variety of aspects of the business. Experience in a customer facing role and the ability to deal with enquiries is required.

Previous experience in an e-commerce environment will be an advantage.

A well defined career progression will be put in place based on business performance.

The role will include but not be limited to:



Creating and sending stock orders to suppliers.

Maintaining and ordering the supply of consumables.

Ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Overseeing order processing, packaging and shipment.

Assisting with the imagery and listing of new products.

Checking the quality and accuracy of listings.

Required Skills:



Good IT Skills

Ability to work under pressure.

Knowledge of the following would be useful but is not essential:

Hours:



Monday to Friday

1/2 Day Alternate Saturdays

Salary:



25,000 to 32,000 depending on experience.

Mapped career progression.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-32,000.00 per year
