Overview

We are a busy family friendly coffee shop and bar located inside the Poppleton Community Centre. We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our General Manager in leading the team and delivering fantastic service to all of our customers!

We are looking for someone with weekend and evening availability, and our ideal candidate would have experience with speciality coffee, bartending and front of house service.

We are committed to giving great service, and also to delivering a great product! We serve Square Mile speciality coffee, Brew York beer, a full brunch menu and an evening street food menu with buttermilk fried chicken and stone baked pizzas! We run weekly events from Speed Quizzes to cocktail nights, and there's always a big event being planned by the team. We have indoor seating and an outdoor pergola, so service can get busy! Job specification

Leading and holding to account team members. Training and leading the team to deliver consistent high quality service Being responsible for the upkeep and security of the shop Oversee the delivery of daily customer service Assist the General Manager in administrative duties such as rotas, stock ordering and event planning Leading in key events

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: 29,000.00-30,000.00 per year
