Duties
Assist in overseeing daily operations within the kitchen and restaurant, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Help train new employees on proper procedures, culinary techniques, and customer service expectations.
Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and implement special promotions.
Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of team management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
