What youll be doing
Supporting the management of all mechanicalengineering assets, including steam and gas turbines, generators, HRSG,pressure systems, gas pipelines, and associated balance of plant equipment
Assisting with the planning and execution ofoutage work developing scopes, managing budgets, and ensuring safe delivery
Monitoring asset health and driving performanceimprovements through structured engineering practices
Investigating plant issues and workingcollaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to implement long-termsolutions
Leading or supporting mechanical projects frominitiation through to completion, applying engineering rigour and a focus oncontinuous improvement
Stepping in to provide support or cover forEngineers where needed, and contributing to wider InterGen initiatives orsecondments
Being on-call and adapting working patterns whenrequired to meet business needs

Education/Experience
Ideally Degree/HND/Time Spent Apprenticeship in Engineering orrelated discipline, but we welcome candidates with strong industry experienceor other relevant qualifications.
You must bring practical knowledge from thepower sector or similar heavy industries like oil, gas, or petrochemicals.
You have hands-on experience with gas and steamturbines, boilers, pressure systems, and associated plant equipment.
A solid understanding of safety standards isessential, and qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH would be highlybeneficial.
Youre progressing towards or have an ambitionto achieve Chartered Engineer status.
