Hours: 42 hours per week. Night Concierge work 4 days on 4 days off, 12 hour shifts; 8pm - 8am. Weekends bank holidays will be required on a rota basis.
We're looking for an Assistant Night Manager to support the smooth running of our night operations and ensure our residents receive exceptional service around the clock. This is a key leadership role that combines operational oversight, team management, and customer excellence to create a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for our residents and university partners.
As the Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations across three properties--Kings Cross, St Pancras, and Hoxton--during your shift. This role requires commuting between these locations to ensure teams are performing effectively and delivering exceptional service
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Night Operations: Oversee building checks, resident queries.
Drive Service Excellence: Role-model outstanding customer service and support the resolution of resident queries and complaints.
Manage & Develop Teams: Coach and inspire night team colleagues, ensuring performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain Health & Safety standards, GDPR compliance, and deliver risk-reduction initiatives.
Collaborate & Communicate: Provide accurate handovers to day teams and foster strong teamwork across the business.
Support Financial Efficiency: Assist in managing operational costs and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Employee relations: Manage employee relations issues effectively and promptly, promoting a fair, positive and inclusive work culture.
