About the Role

We are seeking a confident, passionate Assistant Manager who can lead with purpose, support quality improvement, and help drive our nursery forward. You'll be second-in-command and play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager with daily operations, staffing, compliance, and curriculum leadership.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Leading and supporting staff across the nursery Taking responsibility for the setting in the absence of the Manager Monitoring and improving EYFS delivery across rooms Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and statutory requirements are always met Conducting staff supervisions and supporting professional development Working closely with the Manager on rotas, occupancy, and parent partnerships Contributing to inspection readiness and quality assurance processes Supporting new initiatives and practice development

What We're Looking For:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or working towards preferred) Experience as a Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or strong senior Room Leader Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks A calm, clear communicator who can lead by example Ambition to develop professionally and support others to grow A team player who thrives in a collaborative and respectful culture
