Stepping Stone Projects is an established and growing charity providing quality homes and services to help prevent homelessness and transform lives across the North West.
Our support services are aimed at helping our customers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them in the process of securing or retaining permanent independent accommodation.
Due to recent growth, we are recruiting an additional
Assistant Operations Manager
to join our adult AOM team.
You will be joining a highly motivated and dedicated team to deliver high performance as well as in leading our teams to ensure high quality support and accommodation are provided to adults with experience of homelessness and disadvantage.
This role is to support and deputies for the Operations Manager in leading our delivery teams to provide the highest standards of support and accommodation to people experiencing homelessness.
As an Assistant Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading our teams in the attainment and delivery of KPI's and outcomes
Providing 1-1 support and supervision to our dedicated teams
Liaising with commissioners, landlords, key stakeholders and partners
Being an active ambassador for Stepping Stone Projects at all times
Promoting high performance in all areas of compliance, Health and Safety and Safeguarding
Managing budgets and service specific finances including voids, arrears and bad debts
Upholding our vision, values and behaviours in line with our mission that 'Together we can end homelessness by 2034'
This is an extremely rewarding but also at times challenging role which offer excellent opportunities for knowledge building, training and growth.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Ability to progress (with training) into supervising / leading a team.
Experience of working with customers in a supported accommodation setting.
Ability to develop and maintain good internal and external relationships.
Awareness of causes of homelessness and issues affecting homeless people.
Comprehensive understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
Effective time management skills.
