The Picture Publicity team sits within the TV & Film PR team and are part of the wider Consumer Engagement team. The Picture Publicity Team\xe2\x80\x99s role is to create engaging photography campaigns that connect with our customers, and inspire media and influencers to champion the best of Sky.

Whether it\xe2\x80\x99s our great original shows like Gangs Of London, our international hit shows like House Of The Dragon, or our award-winning products like Sky Glass, we harness the power of earned media to tell positive stories about Sky.

We\xe2\x80\x99re creative, driven and action orientated \xe2\x80\x93 we deliver great original photography campaigns that get people talking, make customers value their subscription and prospective customers want to join Sky.

What you\'ll do:

  • Administer the departmental email, calendar and photography booking system. Providing first line support to Sky Originals photography requests.
  • Manage a slate of Sky Original\xe2\x80\x99s picture campaigns with responsibility for communicating photography deliverable requirements to production company contacts.
  • Compile and complete photography edits, grading, inputting metadata and license information.
  • Understand campaign timelines, supply approved photographic assets for release to Sky\xe2\x80\x99s distribution team and international distribution partners.
  • Provide important support to the team in their day to day work.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with a broad range of external partners including media and picture contacts, independent production companies and talent agents.
What you\'ll bring:
  • A passion for photography, TV and Film, with some experience of working in picture publicity or a related picture desk / publishing sector being desirable.
  • A hunger to learn and willingness to develop, showcasing exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing demands of a visual assets department.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business, setting aside self-interest to achieve the best outcome for the campaign and team.
  • A self-starter, problem solver, able to work independently as well as part of a team, communicates and collaborates well with colleagues, seeking advice and input where helpful.
  • Thrives in a pressurised, demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • A good networker that can build mutually beneficial relationships both internally and externally.
  • Competency of using Adobe Suite photography software, Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom CC.
  • Confident communicator, able to handle external partners with sensitivity and nuance.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple productions and projects, capable of being flexible when priorities change.
  • The ability to be professional whilst working with high-profile on-screen talent and their representation.
  • An understanding of Apple Macintosh computers and their operating system.
