We are looking for an Assistant Play Leader for our After School Club based in Coety Primary School, Bridgend.

Our club is open from:
Breakfast Club - 7.00am - 9.00am
&
After School Club - 2.45pm - 6.00pm

Assistant Playleader Role:

Supporting the Playleader in the day-to-day running of the club. Become the day-to-day person in charge of running the Breakfast and After School Club in the Playleaders absence. Preparing snack, drinks, and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy. Supervising play opportunities with children. Planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.

Qualifications:

Must have Level 3 in CCLD / CCPLD / Playwork or be willing to work towards this.

Will need to have or willing to complete Safeguarding Group C.

Current First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.

Experience:

Must have experience with children age 3 - 11.

The successful candidate will be a lively, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. They must be able to get on well with, and respect all children and adults, must be prepared to 'muck-in' with all tasks and must have a good understanding of safety awareness and risk assessment. They must be willing to undergo relevant initial and on-going training and DBS checks.

Two references will be required at interview stage.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 per hour
