About the Bridging Finance Department





Launched in January 2023, HTB's Bridging Finance channel has quickly become a recognised lender in the short-term finance space. We offer a range of products including unregulated residential investment, refurbishment, semi-commercial, full commercial, auction property, and development exit finance. Our flexible solutions support property acquisition and renovation, complementing our Specialist Mortgages offering to provide a rounded solution for broker partners.

About the Role





We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Portfolio Manager to join our Bridging Finance team. You'll play a key role in managing customer portfolios, supporting the Senior Portfolio Manager, and ensuring seamless service delivery across the team.

Key Responsibilities





Manage loan cases under 200,000 from inception to closure Handle customer contact, Conditions Subsequent, extensions, in-life requests, and redemptions Maintain and update STL systems and master spreadsheets Create and issue Welcome Letters and manage case setup Conduct BIQ and Companies House checks Support Portfolio Managers with customer administration Contribute to team and bank-wide projects as required

Experience in customer account servicing, ideally within bridging finance or financial services Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively High level of accuracy and customer service focus Understanding of risk management principles Collaborative team player
