We have a particular focus on the environment and wildlife protection and habitat creation on the farm. All of our practices are aimed at sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

We are looking for an Assistant Poultry Manager for our broiler farm to support the Manager on a daily basis and be responsible for the site when the Manager is away. Poultry welfare and biosecurity are the most important part of the operation and these must be adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Poultry Manager on the day to day running of the farm Take responsibility of the site on the Managers days off and holiday Producing chicken to the highest standard Ensuring the highest level of Bird Welfare and Bio Security Maintaining safe working practises Ensuring ventilation, feed vaccinations and conditions are kept at optimum levels Keeping accurate records - computer and paper Working in Poultry Houses - handling chickens, laying shavings, walking sheds General farm duties, site maintenance Happy and able to work as a team and alone
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
