The Role
The role of the
Assistant Production Coordinator
is to assist the Production team in planning, resourcing, and accounting for all production activities. This involves working closely with colleagues across planning, storage, winemaking, and accounts to ensure every production run is delivered on time, accurately, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and complete work orders for labelling and packaging tasks as required.
Ensure all specification sheets are prepared and approved in advance of production runs.
Coordinate availability of dry goods for forecasted work.
Record and summarise finished production numbers for the Production Coordinator.
Accurately input and maintain data into production management systems.
Communicate production requirements and updates with clients when deputising for the Production Coordinator.
Other Duties
Provide additional assistance across departments as required to support the smooth running of winery operations.
About You
Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Experience in wine or beverage production, logistics, or operations preferred but not essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
A proactive and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Flexibility to support seasonal demands, including harvest.
