Assistant Production & Maintenance Manager

to support our operations.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Production & Maintenance Manager will support the day-to-day management of production activities and oversee routine maintenance across the plant. This role requires a practical, organised individual with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work closely with both the production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets Coordinate and carry out routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures Monitor stock levels of maintenance parts and production materials Assist in training and supervising production staff as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (ideally in concrete or construction materials) Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills Good organisational and communication abilities Ability to work effectively as part of a small, hands-on team Health and Safety awareness Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and responsibilities

Desirable:

Relevant technical qualification (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or production engineering) Experience with precast concrete or heavy industry equipment
