We are seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow / Assistant Professor with a passion for educational innovation and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in shaping and delivering inter- and transdisciplinary, research- and enterprise-infused education within the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) at the University of Warwick.
You will design, lead, and evaluate transformative teaching that connects disciplines, research, and enterprise. The role involves developing and teaching IATL's undergraduate and postgraduate modules, collaborating with colleagues across the University, and leading projects that enhance curriculum design, student research, and innovation.
The postholder will also contribute to IATL's pedagogic and practice-based scholarship, publishing and presenting their work within and beyond Warwick, and may lead or contribute to projects supported by internal or external funding. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the University's educational culture and to work within a dynamic team that values creativity, collaboration, and inclusion.
About You
You will have a PhD or equivalent professional experience, a strong record of excellence in higher-education teaching, and experience in developing and delivering inter- and transdisciplinary learning experiences.
You will demonstrate proven leadership in educational or pedagogic projects, ideally as a recipient of internal or external funding, and have a track record of delivering and disseminating pedagogic or practice-based research. You will be an inclusive and collaborative educator, committed to participatory and care-informed approaches to teaching and learning, and comfortable working across disciplinary boundaries.
An interest or experience in integrating research- and enterprise-infused approaches to curriculum and student learning will be an advantage.

The Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) is a key department within the University of Warwick that drives educational innovation through collaborative, inter- and transdisciplinary, research- and enterprise-infused teaching and learning.
Established in 2010, IATL creates opportunities for students and staff to experiment, co-create, and innovate to deliver transformative educational experiences. We work across all faculties, leading projects in pedagogic research, curriculum design, student research, and enterprise-based learning.
