East Block Group Limited is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic

Assistant Property Manager

(office based) to join our dynamic block management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in property management within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Would suit someone with an extensive administration background willing to expand their knowledge in the block industry or an existing Assistant Property Manager looking to work towards becoming a full Property Manager with a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:



Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date property files, databases, and records. Prepare and distribute service charge budgets, reports, and client correspondence. Handle incoming calls, emails, and post related to managed properties. Schedule and minute meetings, including AGMs and board meetings. Assist in drafting leaseholder communications, notices, and newsletters. Process invoices, works orders, and liaise with the accounts team. Maintain compliance and certification records (e.g. health & safety, fire risk assessments, insurance). Manage block utility accounts Prepare outgoing post

Property Management Support:

Assist the Property Manager with daily management of a residential block portfolio. Liaise with leaseholders, residents, contractors, and client representatives. Arrange maintenance works and follow up to ensure timely completion. Support the onboarding of new developments or clients. Track and follow up on breaches of lease or management issues. Report on arrears; assist credit control processes.

Customer Service:

Provide responsive and professional service to residents and clients. Help resolve day-to-day queries and complaints effectively and efficiently. Ensure high standards of resident satisfaction and property presentation.

Compliance & Legal:

Ensure knowledge of relevant legislation including Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS code of practice, and health & safety regulations. Assist in coordinating statutory inspections and compliance checks.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,850.00-27,000.00 per year
