Assistant Property Manager
to join our Block Management team and support the day-to-day operations of our residential and commercial developments.
About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure our properties are well-maintained, compliant, and meeting the expectations of leaseholders and residents. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives on communication, coordination, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Leaseholder and Resident Support
Serve as a key point of contact for leaseholders, residents, and freeholders
Help manage service charge budgets and financial records
Address resident queries and concerns professionally and promptly
Distribute notices and organise resident and directors' meetings
Financial & Administrative Support
Assist in preparing and reconciling service charge budgets
Maintain up-to-date financial and maintenance records
Liaise with accountants for year-end accounts
Support budget tracking for communal areas
Maintenance & Compliance
Log and prioritise maintenance requests
Coordinate and oversee routine, emergency, and planned maintenance
Conduct property inspections and report on findings
Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulations
Liaise with contractors and service providers
Section 20 Consultation
Assist with Section 20 notices for major works
Coordinate the consultation process and liaise with stakeholders
Keep accurate records and ensure transparency throughout
Support procurement and monitor project progress
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
Experience in block or property management is desirable
Familiarity with leasehold legislation and property compliance is a plus
