Trainee / Graduate / Assistant Property Manager - Block Management

Location: Office in Portslade (Brighton)



Hours: Mon-Fri 9.00 - 17.30



Must have a full UK driving licence and transport



Join a Growing Property Management Team

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our growing Block Management team. Whether you're a recent graduate, looking to step into the property sector, or already have some relevant experience, we'll provide comprehensive training and support, including the chance to work toward industry-recognised qualifications ATPI.

Key Responsibilities

You'll support the Property Management team in delivering excellent service to residents and freeholders across our residential block portfolio.

Typical duties include:



- Overseeing the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential blocks.

- Communicating with leaseholders, freeholders, and contractors to organise ongoing repairs and maintenance.

- Issuing instructions for works and following up to ensure quality and timely completion.

- Carrying out periodic site visits and instructing necessary works.

- Making sure properties meet all relevant health and safety standards and legal requirements.

- Collaborating with the accounts team to support service charge budgeting and financial reporting.

- Responding to enquiries from residents and leaseholders, aiming for efficient and helpful resolutions.

- Supporting planned maintenance and refurbishment projects, including major works schemes.

- Handling basic leasehold enquiries and logging correspondence

- Updating property records and documentation

- Preparing reports, letters and emails using Microsoft Word and Excel

- Collaborate with Property Administration to complete tasks efficiently.

- Manage full Section 20 consultations.

- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Good communicators, both written and verbal

- Eager to learn and grow in the block/property management industry

- Professional, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

- Interested in building a long-term career in leasehold and block management

- A full UK driving licence and vehicle
