Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our clinical team and team of AP's in the NHS. The role includes a great deal of training with the clinical lead, psychology team and medical/nursing team.

The AP will offer psychological support and psychometric assessment to patient groups in the NHS with long term chronic illness, a full package of training will ensure the AP is skilled up and understands how to deliver the Oakfield therapeutic packages with confidence and skill. The role will be a mixture of face to face working and remote working. AP's will have weekly supervision and will attend regular CPD training

The AP will need to have their own transport so they are able to move between NHS sites if necessary, the NHS sites are across Kent with bases in hospitals such as Maidstone, Tunbridge wells and Dartford and East Kent

The role is 9am-5pm Monday- Friday, there may be occasions when evening/weekend sessions may be requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
