Incorporated in 2004, we continue to focus on what we do well which is providing our clients with first class floor zone solutions including Screed, Underfloor Heating, Floor Finishes and Resin Coatings.

We are looking for an Assistant Flooring Quantity Surveyor to add to our expanding Commercial Department. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Commercial Manager and the Quantity Surveyors.

The Main Duties of the Role:

Working closely with our Commercial Department Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities Preparing Valuations and Pricing of Variations Review material requirements Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met / Cost analysis Visiting our sites when required Liaising with our contracts team and supervisors on site Dealing with any queries that may arise Checking and Completing Labour Timesheets on a Weekly Basis Measuring drawings using Bluebeam & Masterpiece Completing 'Tick sheets' of the drawings using Excel Any other tasks requested by the Commercial Team

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience in the Construction Industry Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or a role similar Able to work as part of a team Attention to detail Problem solving Good time keeping IT Literate Positive attitude to learning.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

UK Driving Licence is preferred due to the location of the role but is not essential as there are public transport routes.
