We are seeking an Assistant Registrar to join our successful Admissions team. The team manages the whole pupil admissions process, from handling prospective parent enquiries, up to a pupil's first day at the school. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for managing our international student visa applications, responding to prospective parent enquiries and building relationships with parents, and assisting with Admissions Open events and Assessment Days.
The successful candidate will have previous administration experience and possess excellent organisational and IT skills. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and comfortable working in a "front facing" role, regularly meeting with parents and pupils. You will be proactive in your work and able to provide exceptional levels of customer service. Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage but is not essential.
Main Duties
Manage all stages of the visa application process for international students and support the Admissions team with all aspects of the admissions process.
Arrange appointments for parents to meet the Headmistress and have a tour of the school.
Respond promptly to prospective parent enquiries via various channels of communication and build relationships with parents so they feel supported during the admissions process.
Work closely with the Registrar to organise student Assessment Days.
Assist with meeting parents and prospective students, as well as giving tours and assisting with Open Events when required.

Situated in the town of Thatcham, in Berkshire, Downe House is an independent secondary school for girls aged between 11 and 18. It is both a day and boarding school.
