We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant operations. WSET Level 2 preferred, wine knowledge compulsory. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests, and supporting the management team in daily operations.
Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting excellent customer service.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to meet demand.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and quality presentation.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, with a focus on team management.
Skills in bartending or culinary arts are essential.
WSET Level 2 preferred. Wine knowledge compulsory.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial.
