to join our team and help deliver exceptional service while supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

Role Overview


As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. You'll also play a vital role in guest relations, handling both compliments and complaints with professionalism to maintain high guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing front-of-house service, ensuring a seamless guest experience Work with the team to maintain excellent service standards and ensure smooth service flow Assist with guest communication, including taking reservations and ensuring a personalised experience for every guest Handle guest compliments, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive outcome and reinforcing the restaurant's reputation Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure that the menu and drinks offerings are well-executed Train, mentor, and support junior staff members to uphold high standards of service Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining room, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed Assist in managing team schedules and providing a supportive work environment Contribute to creating a positive, values-driven team culture across all departments

Requirements



Previous experience in a senior front-of-house role, ideally in a high-quality restaurant or dining environment Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to professionally handle guest complaints and feedback A passion for seasonality, sustainability, and delivering exceptional guest experiences Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy service environment
