Duties
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless operations.
Train new staff members on restaurant policies, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment, both front-of-house and back-of-house.
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team effectively.
Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment is essential; barista experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
