As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests while supporting the management team in various operational aspects including assistant in the running of events.

Duties

Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. Manage and train restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting teamwork. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Contribute to menu planning and development alongside the culinary team, incorporating seasonal ingredients where possible.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant management role is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food production and an understanding of kitchen operations are advantageous. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
