Table Twenty Eight are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, demonstrating leadership qualities and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Duties

Assist the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting excellent customer service. Oversee bar procedures ensuring the highest standards. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of food and supplies. Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas in accordance with health regulations. Support in implementing marketing strategies to enhance restaurant visibility and attract new customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation. Familiarity with cocktails and wine service. Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and customers. A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences.
