We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop menus and special promotions.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the dining experience.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to foster team development.
Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests while promoting teamwork among staff members.
Skills
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a focus on leadership and team management.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
Experience in serving customers with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
