Assistant Restaurant Manager
to join our team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading by example on the floor and ensuring service runs smoothly from open to close. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and owners to uphold our high standards of hospitality, assist with staff training and development, and contribute to the overall success of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations
Lead service, ensuring every guest receives attentive, seamless hospitality
Train, motivate and support the front-of-house team
Handle bookings, guest enquiries and private hire requests
Monitor floor performance and communicate with kitchen and bar teams
Manage cash handling, till reconciliations and service charge distribution
Ensure health and safety, hygiene and licensing standards are maintained
Assist with stock management and supplier orders
Step into management duties in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
About You
Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
A genuine passion for food, drink and exceptional guest service
Confident leading a team and setting the tone for professional, warm hospitality
Strong communication and organisational skills
Hands-on and proactive with great attention to detail
Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

40-hour contract (Tuesday - Saturday)
