The Hotel Folk have a fantastic opportunity for an
Assistant Restaurant Manager
to join their friendly team based at the award-winning Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa.
A successful candidate will have a strong background in a food and beverage environment, with at least two years' previous experience in a similar establishment, to help drive our food and beverage offering and be able to support the Restaurant Manager in delivering a 'blow your socks-off' hospitality experience.
As an
Assistant Restaurant Manager
, you will support in managing our two restaurants - The Gallery and The Brasserie, along with the lounge area and garden which are both perfect settings for an English afternoon tea.
Key Duties of an Assistant Restaurant Manager include:
To assist the restaurant manager in the running of food and beverage services. To manage, motivate and support the team, optimising all opportunities to increase food and liquor sales and profit
Encourage team members to increase sales by ensuring that they know how to add on sales and that they have up-to-date product knowledge
Ensure that guest and customer requests are always responded to courteously and efficiently.
Monitor and evaluate complaints and take preventive/corrective action or make recommendations to improve the situation.
