We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance levels. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards. Train new team members in food production techniques, customer service, and health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Proven experience in an African restaurant or hospitality setting is required but not essential. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving customers with a strong commitment to hospitality excellence. Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food production processes. Previous experience as a barista or within hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
