We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As ARM you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, chefs, and kitchen staff
- Ensure smooth operation of all restaurant activities, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and develop staff members on proper food handling procedures, safety protocols, and customer service skills
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised restaurant environment
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business plans and goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving profitability
- Knowledge of bartending techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
