We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Managers in overseeing daily operations and managing staff to ensure efficient service. Lead by example, providing guidance and support to team members in their roles. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Help in the preparation of food items while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimise waste. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. Assist in training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, with a focus on team management. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is required. Experience in food preparation and cooking is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to support kitchen operations effectively. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with both staff and customers. A background in hotel or fine dining establishments is preferred but not mandatory.
