Duties
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including overseeing food and beverage service, maintaining rigorous hygiene standards, and ensuring an exceptional Front of House experience for all guests.
Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to food safety standards.
Collaborate with the Kitchen team to maintain high-quality food production and presentation.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including outside areas.
Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing and managing special events.
Experience
Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or hotel setting is essential, with a focus on supervisory roles.
Culinary experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques and wine service.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen environment.
Experience in team management, demonstrating leadership capabilities in guiding staff effectively.
Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service excellence is crucial.
