Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth and development. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Assist in creating staff schedules to optimise service during peak hours. Implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Knowledge of food production processes and standards within a restaurant environment. Excellent hospitality skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
