We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant/ Bar Manager (UK National/ Resident) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and production. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing a team and fostering a positive work environment that prioritises customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist AGM/ GM in managing daily restaurant/ bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, bartending, and kitchen procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and oversee food production processes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for excellent service recovery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Support team management by conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of food production processes/ bar operations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous, enhancing your ability to support kitchen operations. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring high standards are consistently met. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with staff and customers alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 01 - 40 per week
