A consultative retail role in a sustainability-focused business with beautiful products in a beautiful location; what more could you ask for in your next retail role? Let us tell you more.
We're Bath House; makers of artisan fragrances and natural skincare. We work closely with our suppliers and partners to create high quality products from fresh, natural ingredients with a strong emphasis on preserving the environment for the future.
One of seven stores, our beautiful new Keswick shop requires an Assistant Retail Manager to provide a professional, knowledgeable and informative service to our clients.
In particular, you will:
be supporting the manager and sharing responsibilities for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a premium customer experience, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for natural and sustainable products, leadership skills, and a track record in retail sales.
assist the team in maintaining high standards of store and merchandise layout, in keeping with our brand standards ensuring visually appealing and well-organised displays that promote products and drive sales.
assist the manager in scheduling and team rotas to ensure the most effective use of resources.
show a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and a keen interest in the benefits of natural ingredients in beauty and wellness products, which are essential for success in this role.
ensure the stock room layout is kept in clear and logical order, allowing easy access and understanding of stock levels and rotation.
respond to any customer complaints and returns in a professional and understanding manner, in line with company policies.
be competent to lone-work when required and be flexible to assist in holiday cover.
You'll bring proven retail sales experience, ideally gained in a similar quality/product sector where a consultative selling approach is required, and the customer leaves us with greater understanding of our brand and product knowledge as well as their purchases.
We offer extensive training in all areas including a general induction, point of sale procedures, and indepth product knowledge. Our aim is to make you as knowledgeable and confident as possible to sell the full benefits of our products, to give the customer a real sensory and fragrance experience.
We welcome applications from all different backgrounds.
