Toddletown Nursery in Farnham, part of the Happy Days Nursery group, is looking for an aspiring nursery room leader to join our welcoming team as Assistant Room Leader, at our OFSTED Outstanding rated Nursery!

What you'll be doing:
As an Assistant Room Leader, you will play an essential role in planning and delivering engaging activities that foster children's development, curiosity, and confidence. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and child-focused nursery environment while ensuring the highest standards of care at all times. Deputising for the Room Leader, you will support the smooth day-to-day operations of the toddler room, ensuring continuity and stability for both children and colleagues.
You will also be responsible for building positive relationships with children, families, and your fellow team members. Communication is key, and you will work closely with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and create an open and supportive dialogue. Supporting your colleagues in delivering outstanding early years education, you will lead by example and contribute to a collaborative and motivated nursery culture.

Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated childcare professional who holds a Level 3 early years or childcare qualification and has a strong understanding of child development and emotional well-being. A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the ability to implement it effectively is essential. Previous experience in an early years setting is important, and exposure to leadership or mentoring will be advantageous. Above all, we seek individuals who are committed to safeguarding and passionate about delivering the very best outcomes for children.

The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues is fundamental, and previous leadership experience within an early years setting would be highly beneficial.
