We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join our dynamic team at Addenbrookes Hospital to work on our 4-year MTC contract and deliver urgent response projects for the NHS
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations on-site.
Organise and manage small projects independently
Assist in coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.
Monitor progress and report on-site performance to ensure project milestones are met.
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Maintain site documentation, including safety records and daily reports.
Participate in site inspections and meetings, providing input to enhance project efficiency.
Manage the site when the site manager is not present.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction or site management is preferred.
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and regulations.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Relevant certifications (e.g., SSSTS / SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos awareness) are a plus.
Basic computer skills required, including MS Excel and Outlook
