We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders on-site.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, including any issues or delays encountered.
Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, providing input on resource allocation and material requirements.
Collaborate with electrical teams to integrate electrical systems into construction projects effectively.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
Setting out and surveying duties using total stations and gps.
Requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 45 per week
