Win as a Team
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Surety Underwriter to join our new and exciting Surety Department on a hybrid basis. As an Assistant Surety Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to be part of a newly formed team launching a new product for Intact Insurance UK Limited. You will be working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth from these brokers.
You'll make an impact by:
Providing support to Underwriters and Senior Underwriters on new Surety business
Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement
Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive sustainable profitable growth
Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices
Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas
Representing our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed
Your skills and experience:
Experience in Surety is essential
A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy
Excellent communication skills
The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
