Mini Athletics BEST (Bury, Ely, Swaffham and Thetford) is looking for an exciting Assistant Coach - Saturday mornings and some weekdays, with a view to becoming a lead coach as we expand our territory, for our fantastic sports classes for walkers-7yr olds,

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like part time working hours in a job that gives great reward, inspiring children. Mini Athletics delivers weekend/weekday classes, afterschool/nursery sessions, holiday camps and birthday parties to children aged 1 - 7 years. Our Amazineer class leaders follow the comprehensive lesson plans that take children through an imaginative journey in athletic movement.

We currently run classes 5 days a week across Bury, Ely, Swaffham and Thetford and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for an Assistant Coach for our weekend and weekday classes with a view to moving into a lead coach role - initially for Saturday mornings in Bury St Edmunds and weekday mornings/afternoons in Ely, Mildenhall, Thetford and the Bury areas.

The Role (in brief)

To welcome and acknowledge all participants upon arrival of each class with enthusiasm. To inspire and engage with the children in your classes. Follow and deliver the Mini Athletics lesson plans in a fun and structured environment using equipment and apparatus provided.
Mini Athletics BEST is looking for:

Someone who is passionate about inspiring young children. A confident, enthusiastic, reliable and organised person. Although a coaching qualification and experience is preferable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

A UK driving licence and access to a car are essential as needed to transport heavy kit from venue to venue.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 3 - 12 per week
