As an Assistant Surveyor within JLL's UK Property & Asset Management team, you will play a vital role in supporting property management operations. The team are responsible for managing the property estate for their clients, with a focus on delivering industry leading management of their client's properties, contributing to the Centre of Excellence and maintaining strong relationships with each client. This P1 grade position offers excellent opportunities for professional development while contributing to exceptional client service and property performance.



Whilst you are expected to assist the client team you will sit within, you will also be liaising with the accounts team in regards payments and raising rents, liaising with the Data team in respect of database changes and invoice authorisation, as well as dealing with landlords and tenants.



General Expectations Will Include:



Proactively support lead surveyors by anticipating needs and preparing materials



Preparing and attending client meetings to run through management reports



Organise client and occupier meetings, taking detailed notes and following up



Maintain accurate property files and documentation systems



Track critical dates, deadlines, and compliance requirements



Support lead surveyors with works projects and health and safety matters



Support property inspections and site presentation assessments



Help coordinate sustainability reporting and ESG requirements tracking



Provide factual information to solicitors and letting agents



Assist with service charge budgets, reconciliations, and apportionments



Respond to routine occupier queries about service charges



Apply knowledge of RICS Professional Standards for Commercial Service Charges



Review rent and service charge reports, identifying discrepancies



Prepare and monitor financial trackers for utilities, turnover rent, and commercialisation income



Advise on simple lease queries and demonstrate ability to read and interpret leases



Collate information from occupiers regarding lease applications



Assist in drafting client recommendations for occupier requests



Organisational skills with the ability to work on several properties or tasks at one time whilst adhering to client KPIs.
