Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the management team, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for youth development excellence. The Assistant Leader will assist in various functions including recruitment, training and development of young people.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily young people's motivation and aspirations to company policies and procedures. Support the recruitment process by participating in interviewing and induction orientation. Assist the Team Leader delivering training sessions for young people's progress to complete The Kings Trust Team Program. Provide training and support to Students to enhance their skills and knowledge. Supervise team members, promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Handle Petty cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling protocols. Engage with other employers and organisations to deliver outstanding service, resolve issues, and enhance overall learning experience. Collaborate with the management team on safeguarding and welfare of students. Utilize opportunities for students to achieve the successful outcome of the program. Maintain effective communication with staff and Students regarding policies, and operational updates.

Requirements

Proven experience in Youth Development or as an Educational support is preferred. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in IT. Familiarity with educational techniques, engagement strategies, and customer service best practices. Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of Kings Trust and LCWC operations is advantageous but not mandatory. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.
