We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an Assistant Technology Design Engineer to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham or Basingstoke. Location: Birmingham or Basingstoke where you will be based out of our either office with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa331.5k + Car + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Technology Design Engineer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute to design engineering assessments and guidance from as early as the concept stage.

Your day to day will include:

To assist in the development of engineering & design solutions for a wide array of ITS projects

Processes and procedures to proactively highlight issues at an early stage

Provide continuous design assurance throughout the design life cycle as well as developing technically compliant offers and submissions

Who are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Technology Design Engineer is great for you if:

Degree or equivalent qualification within a technology bias engineering discipline

Proven track record of successful service delivery, operational, design, and delivery of highways technology infrastructure projects; with knowledge of operational maintenance, construction and site experience being key

Knowledge of ITS, IoT, Telco, and IP technologies and their applications against the services Kier Services and Highways supplies
