Assistant To The Practice Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Practice Manager with projects, systems, procedures, and day-to-day operations. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and produce minutes. Oversee diary management, staff rotas, and annual leave. Provide administrative support for compliance, HR, and finance (including invoices and petty cash).



Assist with marketing, website, social media, and drafting the quarterly newsletter. Organise Patient Participation Group (PPG) meetings and monitor patient feedback. Set and monitor performance targets, identifying areas for improvement. Support clinical staff with general administrative tasks and provide reception/administration cover as needed.



Assist with CQC preparations, audits, referrals, and quality indicator reporting. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and building maintenance. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Participate in training, appraisals, and personal development activities.
