We are looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Assistant Venue & Events Manager to join our close-knit team.
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our Wedding and Events venue. The position focuses on administration, client care and operational support and works closely with the Venue Manager and Wedding Co-ordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
Managing enquiries by email, phone and social media
Maintaining accurate client and event records
Assisting with diary management, meetings and viewings
Updating and creating marketing materials
Client & Couple Care
Acting as a welcoming and professional point of contact
Supporting couples with general questions throughout their planning
Assisting with venue viewings, open days and showcase events
Ensuring couples feel well looked after and supported
Event & Wedding Support
Providing administrative and practical support to the Wedding Co-ordinator
Preparing event paperwork and venue information
Assisting with supplier communication where required
Supporting venue operations on event days (not lead coordination)
Assisting with venue setup
Working closely with the wider team to maintain high standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, charismatic and confident with people
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Hard-working, reliable and proactive
Passionate about hospitality and customer experience
Calm under pressure and adaptable
A strong written and verbal communicator
Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends when required
Experience in hospitality, events or administration is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
