The Role
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on
Assistant Warehouse Manager
to help run our busy warehouse operation. You'll be second-in-command, supporting the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day leadership of the team, managing workflows, and ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and efficiently. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential -- ideally
Linnworks
, but transferable experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Warehouse Manager in leading the warehouse team (pickers, packers, goods-in).
Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Use and manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ideally
Linnworks
, to track inventory, dispatch, and stock movements.
Monitor performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, picking speed) and help drive continuous improvement.
Train and support warehouse operatives.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Cover for the Warehouse Manager when required.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or assistant management role.
Strong working knowledge of WMS platforms --
Linnworks
experience is a strong advantage.
Hands-on experience with eCommerce dispatch processes and courier integration.
Good IT skills - able to troubleshoot and use data to inform decisions.
A practical mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Reliable, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.
Desirable
Experience in a high-volume eCommerce warehouse.
FLT licence (optional but beneficial).
Experience with returns and reverse logistics.
