About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and practical Assistant Wastewater Technician to support the Lead Technician as part of a 2-person team.

This is a supporting role, ideal for someone with wastewater experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to continue developing their skills. You will work alongside the Lead Technician, helping with day-to-day tasks on site, but you will not be responsible for decision making, performance, or health & safety management.

The primary function of the role involves working as part of a 2-man team to lift wastewater chamber lids, identify Dual-Manholes, and complete detailed chamber inspections, including the creation of a 360 digital modelling and videos using our high-tech 360 camera unit.

Note

: Longer term, the vision for this role is to expand into a wider range of wastewater activities, including man-entry inspections, CCTV survey work, and other wastewater operational duties. However, in the initial phase, the role will be predominantly focused on 360 camera inspection work.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Lead Technician on site Assisting with lifting and opening wastewater chambers Helping to set up and use inspection equipment Assisting with 360 camera inspections of wastewater chambers Carrying tools and equipment and keeping the site tidy Following instructions and working safely at all times Helping with basic checks of equipment before and after use
Note: Full training will be provided on the camera equipment and inspection process.

Essential:

At least 1 years' experience in wastewater or utilities work Full UK driving licence Some experience or understanding of:
CCTV work

Jetting

Rodding

Chamber inspections

Comfortable working outdoors, in all weather conditions Willing to travel as required
