The role encompasses, but is not limited to the following

:

Review specifications, tender drawings and any relevant documentation to determine scope and tender requirements and forward to the supply chain.

Prepare detailed and accurate prime cost estimates.

Work on numerous tenders as any given time.

Obtain and evaluate supplier and sub-contractor's quotations to ensure competitive pricing.

Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns where required.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Understanding of HVAC Systems.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate effectively with others.

Strong IT & Estimating Software Skills (Trimble Estimating Package would be advantageous)

Willingness to learn and develop skills in mechanical estimating.

Strong communication skills

Aptitude:

Be able plan, organise and monitor several activities at the same time.

Reliable under pressure.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential due to the operational requirements of the contract.

Good time management skills.
